Major Earthquake Strikes

A powerful earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale struck the city at 3:45 PM local time. The epicenter was located just outside the downtown area, causing significant damage to buildings and infrastructure.

Emergency Response

Emergency services are currently on the scene, assisting those affected and assessing the damage. Authorities urge residents to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel.
