“After years of talking and thinking about how I was "going to" get fit, I finally decided to do a small 3 month program with my youngest daughter. Thank fully, this effort to motivate my daughter was also the impetus that I badly needed. This was how I started to look for a well equipped gym and the essential input of a personal trainer. Fortunately this person turned out to be Mila.

Like many men over 50, I had fallen into a habit of little or no exercise.  I indulged in a very poor, undisciplined diet, skipped breakfast and couldn't run to save myself. Not surprisingly the accumulative affect was that my weight got to a very unhealthy 103 kilos! Obviously this was not good for so many reasons. I also knew that I lacked the initial motivation to persist with exercise without a personal trainer. I am now training on a regular basis and appreciate being driven to push myself further.  Whilst it may sound like an old cliché, the more effort I put in with exercise (combined with good eating of course) the better I continue to feel.


When I started PT sessions in March 2010 I gave Mila the brief of "losing weight" but have achieved far more than just weight loss. I was actually quite scared about what to expect and I also felt very self-conscious about being in the gym and not looking in such good shape. I really had no need to worry as Mila instantly made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I am fitter and healthier and can really understand the whole exercise/nutrition thing. I have more energy and I know that my work productivity and stress levels are also much better when I am exercising.

Mila and I regularly review and discuss my program to make sure it is still meeting my aims. This gives me lots of support and encouragement to keep going. Sometimes, the whole exercise routine is hard to establish but it is simply just that, getting the routine established.  I am very grateful to Mila for being fundamental in the establishment of this routine and the continued genuine interest in my progress.”
