As reported recently, this month Windy Hill is launching Les Mills exciting new offering for members, CX Worx. Based on cutting-edge scientific research, this program is the ultimate way to get a tight and toned core. With dynamic training that hones in on your abs, glutes, back, obliques, and "slings" connecting the upper and lower body. This workout will leave you looking good and feeling strong.
The class is in a short 30 minute format therefore fitting into the busiest of lifestyle and comprises:
1.Warm Up Connects you with your core muscles and teaches you how to engage them.
2.Core Strength 1 Increases the challenge on your lower and upper abs, and begins activating your muscular slings.
3.Standing Strength 1 Trains your glutes, abs and sling muscles in standing and improves your awareness of how these muscles function in daily activities.
4.Standing Strength 2 Increases the demands on your glutes using squat and hip pulse moves.
5.Core Strength 2 Trains your obliques in three patterns of movement - laying twists, side hovers and mountain climbers in a plank position. This is "superset" core training.
6.Core Strength 3 Brings your focus to the back muscles to improve trunk extension.
The grand launch of the program is set for 7.15pm on Monday October 24th. Bookings will be essential for the launch class and you can reserve your spot by contacting reception on 9377 1555 or directly at the centre. Refreshments will be provided after the class and please note, on this night Zumba will not operate.
After the launch on the 24th, CX WORX will initially be offered on Monday at 7.15pm with Gina, Friday 10am with Diana and Saturday at 10.30am with Sharon.
